Mache salad!
This is such a fun, simple salad. These greens are called mache rosettes. They are originally from Provence, France. My mother is French and she told me about these delicate salad greens. When she saw them in the States, she was very happy. :)They have a delightfully sweet, nutty flavor. You can mix them in other salads as well. Leafy greens are healthy for you too! 🙂
Toss mache rosettes in a salad bowl…drizzle with a little fresh lemon, olive oil, salt, pepper…enjoy. 🙂
These greens are delicate, so just a touch of dressing works best. 🙂
